Main functions:
  • ELF heat meters are designed to measure thermal energy (amount of heat), volume and other parameters of the coolant in water heating systems.
Specifications:
  • The principle of operation of the heat meter consists in measuring the temperatures of the coolant in the supply and return pipelines, the volume of the coolant in the heat supply systems, followed by the calculation of thermal energy. The heat meter has two versions, which differ in the applied equations for measuring thermal energy, depending on the pipeline (supply or return) on which the volume of the coolant is measured by the water meter.
Data is measured and output:
  • the amount of thermal energy, (Gcal, GJ or kWh);
  • volume of water, m3;
  • water temperatures in the supply and return pipelines, 0 °C;
  • temperature differences in the supply and return pipelines, 0 °C;
  • water consumption (m3/h) and heat output;
  • current time, h,
The heat meter provides:
  • indication of fault codes;
  • saving measurement results in the archive;
  • saving emergency codes in the archive;
  • transmission of measurement results of thermal energy or water volume by pulse output;
  • an indication of the volume (energy) corresponding to the number of pulses received from the pulse inputs.
